Bryan Smith, the Director of High Performance Tennis at PATC has been playing and coaching tennis for over 40 years. He started playing at the age of 6.
Bryan won 2 state singles championships for Center Grove High School is a member of the Indiana High School Tennis Hall of Fame. He was All Big Ten at Purdue his first year of college and then transferred to Ball State. While at Ball State, he was voted MAC player of the year.
Bryan is a USTA High Performance Certified professional who has coached players at every level including state, regional, national and professional. He has worked with Rajeev Ram since the age of 14 and was voted USOC developmental coach of the year for tennis 2007. Bryan also serves on the USTA Midwest Section Coaches Commission.
Bryan started Smith Tennis with Jeff, his dad, in 2011. His son, Sajin, was state singles runner up and has continued the family legacy at Ball State.
Fun fact – 5 members of Bryan’s family have played tennis for Ball State.
