PATC CLINIC POLICY
ALL CLINIC PARTICIPANTS MUST BE MEMBERS OF PATC
Only specific classes that are noted and detailed in our schedule allow non-member participation. Once the clinic session has begun there are no refunds, credits or changes permitted for clinic programming.
NO MAKE UP CLASSES
In order to promote an appropriate player to coach ratio, we are unable to offer make up classes. PATC works hard to maintain consistent clinic numbers and to schedule the correct number of our certified, experienced teaching professionals into those clinics. Fluctuating numbers limit our ability to provide the best learning environment and customer service experience possible, therefore we cannot accommodate make up classes or drop in players. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
*Classes that allow drop in players are noted as such in the session clinic schedule. Trial classes need advanced approval and should be coordinated by emailing Scott Schmelzer, firstname.lastname@example.org, in advance of the class you are looking to try.
NO REGISTRATION CHANGES ONCE SESSION BEGINS
We are unable to accommodate clinic changes once the session has started. Players must attend classes on the day and time they have registered for. This is again to provide the highest quality instruction for all of our members with suitable student to teacher ratios and assigned courts. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Drop-in players are never allowed for Junior clinics. All players must be registered before participating in clinics. (Trial clinics are allowed with prior authorization by contacting email@example.com).
Drop-in clinics for Adults are not allowed unless the teaching professional has given pre-approval. Please check with your clinic coach if you have any questions.
Request a trial clinic by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org in advance. Please allow a minimum of 2 weekdays if possible to process your request. We will check class numbers and consult the coaching staff. If the trial class is approved Scott will let you know. Pricing for a single trial clinic is as follows:
30 min clinic= $10.00
60 min clinic = $20.00
90 min clinic= $30.00
2-hour clinic= $40.00
PATC will operate normally, including hours of operation and schedules, in the event of inclement weather or school closings.
i. PATC members are still required to cancel court reservations per court cancellation policies (24 hours in advance). As winter weather is typically predicted in advance, we recommend players plan early should you be concerned by the weather forecast.
b. PATC may have modified hours of operation and schedules should Boone County be placed under a RED travel advisory, as state leaders have determined that travel is restricted to emergency management workers only.
c. Should PATC need to close for whatever reason (loss of power, travel advisory, flooding, snow or other inclement weather, or any other act of God, etc.):
i. Advanced court reservations, private lessons, and permanent courts will be notified by email and/or phone and will not be charged for that day’s court reservation if unused.
ii. Cancelled programs will be issued a credit for that day’s play.
iii. If the facility remains operational (i.e. had power, etc) players already on court will be permitted to complete programs and rentals in progress before the facility closes. Should players choose to leave early, no credits will be issued.
iv. If the facility will close immediately, all players currently on court will cease play immediately and credits will be issued based on the following:
1. If more than 50% of the scheduled time has been completed, a partial credit will be issued.
2. If less than 50% of the scheduled time has been completed, a full refund will be issued.
