Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Katie graduated from Park Tudor High School where she excelled as a student-athlete, compiling 6 Indiana State Tennis Titles (4 singles titles & 2 team titles). Katie competed in local, Midwest & National tournaments. She played collegiate tennis at Wake Forest University in North Carolina where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology. Her team made it to the NCAA Elite 8 her freshman year where she was ranked in the top 25 in singles and doubles. After graduation, Katie started teaching tennis and lived in DC, Ohio & Philadelphia with her husband, Brian who was playing professional soccer in the MLS. They moved to Carmel in 2017 to be close to family after Brian retired from soccer. They have 3 children Aiden, Grace & Noah.
Katie has been a teaching professional for over 15 years and loves being on the tennis courts with players of all levels and ages.
